So sweet, Lucy Mae

Sweet Lucy Mae couldn’t wait to meet her family, and decided to come 2 weeks before her due date; which is today, April 3.  This princess made her arrival into the world on March 22, and was immediately loved by all.  Her sweet face is nearly identical to her big brother, Greyson.  Congratulations Cooper family!  Lucy Mae is gorgeous.

Launder Family

Over the Easter weekend, this special family was reunited after months apart.  When family grows up and moves away, reunions are even more meaningful.  It’s also enjoyable when a new grandbaby/cousin was added to the mix!  Check out pictures from their session!

Cooper Maternity

There’s a Mini Cooper in the oven, and HER arrival date is getting closer!  I had the awesome privilege of capturing Big brother, Greyson, when he was a newborn and I can’t wait to meet Lucy too!  They were troopers, grinning and bearing through an outdoor shoot in February, in Toledo, Ohio!  Cara is shining in all her baby-belly beauty and Greyson humored me by showing me how he talks to his sister and loves on her already!  Enjoy this mini-gallery!

Reflection

It’s no surprise that winter is the slowest time in a photography business.  Unless, of course, you live anywhere south of Ohio, or your client has thick skin to endure the frigid air that cuts through to your bones!  As I miss my clients and the fun adventures with my camera, these slow months offer lots of time for reflection.

Reflection is always good for the heart, mind and soul.  Reflecting over years past, improvements that have been made, or noticing places that could use improvement!  Reflecting over your life in the home and outside the home.  Are you the true YOU in both places…reflecting on goals set in the past and figuring how to refocus future goals.  Reflection does a body good.

In these slow months of being trapped inside, allow yourself time to reflect.  Whether you’re a Bible believer or not, the author of Proverbs offers wisdom to all, including a verse found in chapter 27, verse 19, “As a face is reflected in water, so the heart reflects the real person.”

By giving yourself time to reflect life, goals, dreams, accomplishments, etc, it allows your heart to be healed and challenged.  And when your heart is good, it will reflect in everything you do.

2015 in Review

What a year it has been!  I can definitely say, I am beyond grateful for this year of photography.  I have had the opportunity to capture so many precious memories for people and I am honored to have done each one.  From Family Sessions, to Weddings, Maternity to Newborn, Graduating Seniors and Engagement Sessions…SO MUCH FUN!  Below is a highlight from the year…see if you can find yourself!  Thank you, ALL, for supporting this dream of mine and allowing me the opportunity to capture the beauty in your lives!  Merry Christmas to you all and Happy New Year!

Tiny Fingers, Tiny Toes

Like every baby, Samuel James is a miracle.  Precious Samuel arrived early into his loving home with Julianne and Jeremy.  His tiny fingers and toes were perfect and precious!  He was a doll during his whole shoot!  I thoroughly enjoyed snuggling with and meeting him.  Here is a mini-gallery from our time together.

Meet the Wynkoop’s

I’ve only known Rachel for a few short months, but in this short time I’ve learned that she is a devoted wife and mother, and an over comer.  This year, this dear family lost a committed husband and father, and America lost a soldier.  Loss is never easy.  When hard times happen, family and community draw strength from one another and that is what they are doing!  You can follow her blog here https://deployedtoheaven.wordpress.com/2015/10/13/6-months-a-reflection/

Here is a mini-gallery from our recent session!

Kayla, class of 2016

When the natural beauty in the subject and the backdrop come together, we get a great session and it is evident in the images! Meet Kayla, class of 2016!  Best of luck in the remainder of your senior year and Bowling Green!

Katie Grace ’16

Katie Grace, class of 2016, is a beauty inside and out.  I love meeting new people, and Katie was a pleasant session for sure!  Here’s wishing her the best of luck as she finishes up her senior year then heads out west to Evangel University!!  Keep smiling; you’ll be a world changer!

Zach ’16

Check out this Senior!  If you have been to a Springfield High School football game, you may have spotted him.  His cheering section consistently contains his family, including his sisters, not only at a football game but also in life.  Zach has a solid head on his shoulders and is surrounded by a solid support system.  Here’s to a bright future, world changer!
