When your friends, a gem of a family, drive from Columbus for some fall pictures…you take it as a huge compliment and have a lot of fun! We enjoyed a beautiful fall morning at Side Cut Park in Maumee and captured some fun family moments!  I absolutely love that I had the opportunity to take pictures of this family.  I have known them for about 8 years now and am grateful to be able to keep in touch!

As you look through the highlight reel from the Lake Family’s recent session, listen closely.  Can you hear the laughter?  I absolutely love capturing a mixture of photos in my sessions.  Of course the posed ones are great and look nice and orderly, but I also can’t help but capture those candid shots.  Especially when there are young kids; you never know what you are going to get during a photo session.  I love it!  The Lakes were awesome with the mixture of posed and candid!  Just see for yourself…

There is no doubt that pets quickly become a part of the family! And, there is definitely no doubt that when a family pet gets bad health news, that it effects the family. When times like that happen, it is all the more important to capture moments with them! Meet Toby… he was recently diagnosed with cancer and has gone through surgery for it.  He is still as sweet as could be and loved by his family!  Here is a highlight reel from our session together!

It was easy to capture the beautiful joy of Morgan as it radiated through her! We had our session date picked out and on the calendar for 2 months and rain wasn’t going to stop us!  Thankfully the sky parted and the sun made an appearance just in time for us to capture some memories in Uptown Maumee and at Side Cut Park.  Enjoy our highlight reel!

I seriously LOVE photography! I get to meet some of the coolest people and families! Let me tell you, I thoroughly enjoyed meeting and capturing the love and life that radiates through the Clayton Family!  Sweet Alayna is 6 months old and Connor is 3.  This family is truly special!  Here are some highlights from our time together.

One’s high school senior year is such a special time!  It’s the moment kids can’t wait to get to, and for parents it’s a reminder that time goes by so quickly.  This is Kayla’s year to celebrate and enjoy!  She has worked hard to get to this point, and though the hard work isn’t over, it’s a major milestone to celebrate!  Congratulations Kayla!  Here is a highlight role from our time in Dowtown Maumee!

Happy 6 Months Samuel.  As a newborn you were itty bitty and slept through your whole photo shoot.  Now, a short 6 months later, you have adorable squishy cheeks and rocked another shoot!  I love watching you grow!  Here’s a mini-gallery from our session.
