True beauty is what shines from the inside and it can easily be spotted through one’s eyes and smiles. Kayla’s inner beauty and outer beauty shine so brightly that she makes my job easy! Last year she ventured through the Miss Missouri pageant, and made us proud. I love working with her! Here is a mini-gallery from our session.

Time to Celebrate!
Sammy is a miracle baby. His mama was on bed rest for nearly half her pregnancy but because of her extra care, we get to celebrate Sammy turning 1! He is full of life! His laugh and smile are addicting and his screaming always helps people know when he is around! Happy Birthday Sammy!

Stacy and Brian’s Wedding Day!
Stacy and Brian have a love for each other that is evident when you simply watch them look at each other. They both have a glow about them and it happens more than just on their wedding day. Their love and commitment toward each other is strong and the joy was felt all around as they exchanged their vows. They are a special couple that will change their world.
Obviously, a lot of pictures were taken that day, but to post them all would be overwhelming. So below is a mini gallery for you all to enjoy!
Happy Marriage Stacy and Brian! Enjoy the journey!

Life is Precious
Anaya, is a precious gift of life given to Kayla and Jeremy. Her sweet-self causes you to want to snuggle her for hours, as her parents have done! The love this couple has for each other, their precious daughter and their God is evident in their eyes, their talk and their lives. See for yourselves!
I’m Still Here!
Wow, what a winter it has been here in Toledo! I honestly am not much of a complainer about winter because I love the beauty the snow adds to the world. I love how a snow day makes people slow down. I love how a Level 3 snow emergency forces people to stay home and have family time. I love how the snow makes the night seem brighter. And I love the glimmer in my daughters’ eyes when they see the snow falling and squeal with glee knowing they will soon get to play in it. I know I’m among the minority in feeling this way. One thing I don’t understand is why people complain about it. Seriously, it’s winter. This is what it’s supposed to do in winter in Northwest Ohio. If our winters didn’t consist of snow and cold temps, then something would be wrong. Yes, I look forward to spring because, well, loading my daughters in and out of the car in negative temps with the wind burning my face isn’t fun. But it’s only for a season.
I often say that in life, it’s only for a season. And it’s so true. No matter what you are going through in life, no matter what you may be facing today, it’s only for a season. But while you are in the season, you choose your attitude. Will you be a complainer or will you embrace it and look for the beauty in the bitter cold? Your attitude is always up to you. Although I would like my daughters to believe the world is always full of rainbows, lollipops and unicorns, the truth is, it’s not. But how we face the world, how we deal with the season of life we are in, is all up to us.
And in the mean time, my photography has slowed down but I know as soon as we catch a glimpse of green grass and beautiful flowers with the birds singing in the trees above, I’ll be busy again. So in this season, I’m going to enjoy the down times.
Look who’s turning ONE!!!!
Sweet Greyson has been with me since his newborn pictures and I mus say it has been a precious thing watching this sweet boy grow up! It is absolutely amazing how much change happens in the first year of life. It is addicting to take his picture because they are all so cute! Happy Birthday Greyson!
Mommy Photographer
Life as a mom and a photographer is enjoyable. I am thankful to be able to pursue something that does not require me away from my family for long stretches of time. It is also nice that I have 2 little subjects to always be the center of my photos! I would say the trickiest part is when I sit down to edit my photos because we all know that when a mom sits down a signal goes off in her childs’ minds that makes them realize they need something…now! I am thankful for a husband who believes in me and my dream; I could not do this without him!
Hello World!
Hello! I am excited to travel a new journey in taking my photography to the next level. I am thankful for an encouraging husband during this dream pursuit and for 2 beautiful daughters on which to practice! Thank you for joining with me and following along!
